Imagine taking your family across a busy one way intersection in the city at night and running across busy traffic. The lights are green and the walk sign is saying no but your only thought is to get to the cafe to eat. You drag your family across the street with no disregard for the on coming traffic. Every Vehicle slams on their brakes barely missing an accident. LOL.

Their is a lot of detail to this painting. It took me literally 6 weeks to paint. I had no references. I started painting the characters running. 53 years ago I did a City Drawing in a different style in pencil. It took me weeks to complete and the Art Teacher entered it in an Art Contest and I won two Gold Keys and a ribbon. As I was painting this painting with no clear direction I decided to go back and live my High School days all over again and use my own art as inspiration. I use to draw detailed chaos drawing in high school that featured famous celebrities from the Tree Stooges to the Honeymooners doing crazy things. Every time the teacher would display it someone would steal it. I did 3 of them and every one got stolen. They took weeks to do and was labor intensive and I only have the memories. This painting is highly detailed and is truly labor intensive. my inspiration to do such labor intensive painting is not often. The price of this painting doesn't justify the time. It is truly a unique painting and very few artist do this much detail anymore. The buyer of this painting will be getting a very unique one of a kind work of art that will bring a lifetime of smiles through discovery. It's a great conversation piece and will bring smile to all who see it.
